In the film, the Tattas prepare for a home vacation, but are forced to evacuate and end up in the German Quarter. When father Richard wants to book a bargain-priced sun vacation at a bazaar, things immediately go wrong. Erik gets angry with a crook, causes an argument and loses his entire vacation money. Now he has to work in the bazaar. Nevertheless, Erik does not give up and promises his family that they will go on vacation.
