Activities – Liz Dance Flamenco

Liz Dans Flamenco is the largest Flamenco dance school in Rijswijk. Classes are taught by Lizzy Verloop in the beautiful dance studio of Stichting Trias, center for Arts. The hall is large enough to allow sufficient distance from each other.
Liz Dans Flamenco started in 2014 and has grown into a large Flamenco dance school with Flamenco lessons at 5 different levels, lessons in castanets playing and dancing, courses Sevillanas, courses Palmas (rhythm clapping) and courses Flamenco technique.
Learn to dance Flamenco yourself in The Hague
Learn this beautiful Spanish dance with the characteristic proud attitude, the beautiful hand and arm movements, the rhythmic clapping (palmas) and the powerful footwork!
In the Flamenco dance classes we pay a lot of attention to all the techniques and expression. You can also join later in the season.
Throughout the dance year we work on a dance choreography in a particular Flamenco style (palo). Thus, each class has its own dance choreography. Thus, if you take two classes a week, you will learn two different choreographies.
Liz Dance Flamenco works together with Flamenco guitarist Vicente José Santiago. He regularly accompanies the Flamenco classes and performances and teaches the Palmas course.
Flamenco show
Every year Liz Dance Flamenco presents its Flamenco show: in 2021 it will be on July 4 in the Rijswijkse Schouwburg. With Daniel Navarro, Erminia Fernandez Cordoba, Vicente José Santiago, Ron van Holland.
Flamenco workshop
You can also come to Liz Dance for a Flamenco Workshop. The workshop will be completely adapted to your wishes. For example with live guitar accompaniment or music on mp3. But also a workshop technique and short choreography or a workshop Sevillanas dance (2 to 2). This can be a teambuilding for your company or a pleasant afternoon for a party like a birthday, bachelor party or otherwise. If the room is free at our location, this can be done with drinks and tapas in the Theater Café or at your location.
Flamenco class schedule Liz Dance 2020:
From September 2, the new dance season starts again and different courses will be offered.
