New playing facilities for young (and old)

What makes the Ouderkerkerplas even more fun are the new play facilities recently added. The large swings are guaranteed to delight children of all ages. Who doesn’t love to swing nice and high, with the wind in your hair and the view over the lake? In addition to the swings, a water playground has now been installed, where children can have fun playing with water. Especially on hot days this is a big hit, as the water play equipment offers a nice cool down and endless fun.

For sports enthusiasts, a new table tennis table has also been thought of. Perfect for a fanatical game of table tennis, where you can compete with your children, friends or partner. So don’t forget to bring your bats and balls, because this is guaranteed to be a success.

Boules courts

Do you feel like a quieter activity? Then it is good to know that jeu de boules courts have now been installed, which you can use for a small fee. A game of petanque is the perfect way to spend time with friends or family in a relaxed manner. It’s approachable, fun for all ages, and what’s more, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake in the meantime.

Dog walkway

And let’s not forget the dogs! Since October 15 dogs are welcome again at the Ouderkerkerplas. The dog beach is the place where your four-legged friend can let off steam. Recently there is also a dog training track. This course consists of various obstacles where dogs can expend their energy and work on their agility at the same time. It is a great way to challenge your dog both physically and mentally, and it gives you as the owner the chance to actively participate or just relax on the waterfront.
