How did Cristel experience the Prison Escape?

Some time ago we were locked in Breda’ s Koepelgevangenis to participate in the Real Life Gaming Prison Escape. This was quite an experience! In this series, everyone who was with us gets to speak so you know how we experienced it. This time it is Cristel aka Blankie 070 ‘s turn!

What did you expect from the Prison Escape?

I’m always up for something new and an escape room had been on my list for a while. But that the Prison Escape was much more than an escape room I had not thought beforehand!

You say the Prison Escape is not an escape room, so what is it?

This is really different cake. The Prison Escape is an insane experience. An experience I would not soon forget.

What did you think when you were inside?

This is the first time I have seen the inside of a prison. I was quite overwhelmed because there were so many people participating. So many actors and how big it was inside! I was immediately on edge, wanting to win the game at all costs. The whole setting motivates tremendously and I was immediately in the game.

What were your tactics?

Being sharp, paying close attention and observing. Who is who and who could I trust? I immediately started looking around to see who would have what connections to get me outside the walls of the prison. That was quite a job I can tell you. You only have 3 hours.

Three hours is quite a long time, isn’t it?

Yes, it is, but when you are in the game it is over in no time.

Did you manage to escape?

Yes, miraculously I managed to get out within three hours. What an experience that was! I was really super happy. It was just in the nick of time.

Would you recommend the Prison Escape to others?

Yes I would! It really is a fantastic game. Not just a real life game. It is your reality for three hours. You have to experience it yourself to find out that this is really something different. It really is a game where you have to be smart, pay attention and also have some luck. In any case, I absolutely loved it!
