Pavilion de Zweth: an active day out!

Since March 1, Paviljoen de Zweth in Kwintsheul is open to the public again. That will be plenty of enjoyment again after the winter closure! For those looking for an active day out, this is the place to be!

Open again for a new season

Pavilion de Zweth is closed during the winter season. Between November and February they are closed because almost everything in the Zweth takes place outside. It is therefore the ideal base for a nice day in the open air. Especially water sports enthusiasts get their money’s worth here, but families with (small) children also enjoy the Zweth. It really is the ideal day out!

Something for everyone

At Paviljoen de Zweth, there is plenty to do. Parents of slightly younger children can have a great time on the grounds. There is a playground, a miniature golf course and a large trampoline. Inside, there is also an indoor playground. Some older children can try their luck on the survival course. This runs across the ditch and so the chance of getting wet is considerable. So always remember clean, dry clothes and a towel and old shoes.

Fun on the water

Water lovers are also having a great time here. So you can pedal on the lake behind the Zweth and you can rent a boat. Because these are whisper boats you can sail all the way to the center of Delft! Super fun! We rented such a boat and because it is easy to drive, the kids can also sail for a while. There are life jackets available, so safety is thought of as well. You can also rent a canoe and go out on the water.

Prefer dry land

For people who prefer to stay on dry land, there is also plenty to do. You can rent bikes and scooters and explore the beautiful surroundings of the Westland villages. Also for the inner man there is plenty to find on the Zweth, so you can choose a nice lunch with various sandwiches, but you can even have a barbecue prepared for a special occasion. You can eat inside and outside.

Different arrangements

Different arrangements are also offered at the Zweth. For example, you can choose a picnic arrangement if the weather is nice. This can be done both on the boat and on the scooter. There is also an arrangement with apple pie on the boat and a drink boat. Very nice to do with girlfriends. A day at Paviljoen de Zweth is really a nice active day out. Keep that summer coming!
