Extraordinary all you can eat restaurant FoodExplore in Utrecht

Recently, the team of OpstapmetLisa went to a special all you can eat in Utrecht! Namely, we went to FoodExplore, a restaurant with an all you can eat concept, but different than usual. We were very surprised!
The Wall
You can find FoodExplore along the A2 (exit 7) in shopping mall The Wall. So besides various stores and fun indoor play halls such as a roller skating track, a climbing hall and an indoor playground, you can eat out here. And the great thing is: there is something for even the toughest eaters! Parking at The Wall is very easy and free for the first two hours. After those two hours of parking, you only pay €1 per hour.
All you can eat, but different
Eating at FoodExplore is different from other all you can eat restaurants. In fact, you’ll find all kinds of cute little eateries, like in an Asian market. In the middle of the restaurant you will find a large bar where you can get drinks. Soft drinks, beer, house wines, slush puppies, coffee and tea are just included in the price. Want a cocktail or a foreign liquor? Then you can pay the additional cost of those right away.
Anything and everything!
It is often the case with the all you can eat concept that you can enjoy different cuisines. So you can often eat sushi there, but also choose pizza, salads and choose something from the live cooking. You can do the same at FoodExplore, but there everything is very organized and convenient. And there are also a number of stalls where they have just a bit more unusual dishes that at the standard all you can eat restaurants. There was a Mexican stand with delicious tacos and quesadillas, a separate stand with Spanish tapas, a Belgian waffle stand and even an Oriental stand with delicious Dim Sum, Peking duck and Peking duck pancakes!
Everything has its own market stall! Therefore, it also looks very cozy, it’s really like walking in an Asian market. The only downside is: it is impossible to taste all the goodies. You really have to make choices!
Very convivial
We were at FoodExplore on a Friday night and had opted for the 3-hour package. We were already inside at 6 so it was pretty quiet at first. It did get busier and busier, but strangely enough you didn’t notice that at all. The atmosphere at the market stalls was very convivial so there weren’t masses of people going for the same product. Also at the live-cooking the lines were not very long. Very nice!
Also nice for children
FoodExplore is also very good to do with children. There is a large indoor playground where kids can have a great time, and kids can explore the restaurant on their own from a fairly young age. There is plenty for them to eat too, potato twisters, burgers, poffertjes, crepes and pizza. And bet they can have a blast with the desserts, too? Ideal for birthdays and other parties with the whole family.
For 2 people or large groups
You can reserve a table at FoodExplore for as little as 2 people. But larger groups are also welcome. The staff is there to make you feel comfortable and your table is kept clean. We will definitely come back because we are very surprised by this nice all you can eat restaurant!
