Le Marie Marché in The Hague

On 6 and 7 April Le Marie Marché will be at the Lange Vijverberg in The Hague. This cozy French market is free to visit both days between 11:00 and 17:00. At all the stalls you will find nice gadgets: gifts for yourself and for others. Le Marie Marché is free to visit and has been a household name in The Hague for years!

Amsterdam Tulip Festival

From April 1 to 30, Amsterdam turns into a colorful city because of the Amsterdam Tulip Festival. It is already the 10th edition and this time it also coincides with the Easter weekend! The tulips are in public spaces along streets, on bridges and squares, in flower beds and parks and in the various gardens. And to celebrate the anniversary you will also find floating tulips in the pond in the Vondelpark and a mini-expo in the Amsterdam Museum. Look for all tulip locations on this website.

Spring festival Slot Zeist

On Sunday, April 21, the Slot Garden Theater will be in the gardens of Slot Zeist for the 7th time for a real Spring Festival! During the Spring Festival you will be spoiled with music, theater, acrobatics and humor. There are two time slots for this event: from 13:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00. This gives everyone plenty of time and opportunity to come and enjoy themselves without getting too crowded. A ticket costs only €1, so hurry to the website and reserve your ticket!

Haarlem flower parade

On Saturday, April 20 around 21:00 the world famous Bloemencorso van de Bollenstreek finished in the historic center of Haarlem. You really want to experience this once! Is Saturday night bad for you? Not to worry, because on Sunday, April 21, the floats can be admired all day in the beautiful center of Haarlem.

KreaDoe Spring Festival

Creative people beware! From April 19 to 21 is the KreaDoe Spring Festival in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht! Find your new hobby, learn more about your own hobby, meet other people and participate in one of the many workshops.

Japanese Garden Clingendeal

The Japanese Garden in The Hague is reopening this spring! This beautiful and fragile garden is only open 8 weeks a year: 6 weeks in the spring and 2 weeks in the fall. This spring, the garden will be accessible from April 27 through June 9, 2024. There are some rules attached to your visit. You can find all the rules on this website.

Festivals around King’s Day

On April 27 our King celebrates turning another year older and we celebrate with him. There are fun festivals all over the country. On Friday, April 26, you can usher in King’s Day in Delft during Oranjekoorts. In Eindhoven, celebrate the king’s birthday on April 26 and 27 at the Royal Dutch Festival.
