Summer is coming again and what are we waiting for it! Spring is still very unsettled with low temperatures and frequent rain. And we are still in an unsettled period around Corona where we all have to stay home as much as possible. But hopefully next time the temperature will rise a little more and more, the sun will show itself more and more and we will get to go outside more! Fortunately, the Dutch beach bars have also received permission from the government to at least reopen their terraces, albeit modified. But where better to enjoy this summer than on the Dutch coast? We have therefore found for you the nicest culinary beach tents where after the lockdown you get the ultimate vacation feeling.

Culinary by the sea

Where you used to buy fries on the way home after a day at the beach, you can now enjoy delicious culinary dishes for years. The real standouts in this we have mapped out for you.

Uluwatu

In Hoek van Holland on the boulevard you will find Uluwatu. Uluwatu stands for sun, sea, beach and air. These elements are reflected in the decor, atmosphere and their passion for good and honest food. In addition to high-quality meat and fish dishes, the menu also offers plenty of room for vegan and organic dishes. Real enjoyment for everyone!

Beachclub Casa Verde

We stay in Hoek van Holland for a while longer. Beachclub Casa Verde works mainly with local entrepreneurs for its dishes, which makes them distinctive. For example, the peppers come from Westland peppers and the vegetables from Boeregoed. For the fish lovers; they smoke the fish in their own fish smokehouse.

BAZ

After a day at Zandvoort or a nice walk on the beach there, visit wine bar BAZ. There they serve delicious and special wines. Take an oyster or a nice piece of cheese with it and the enjoyment can begin.

Meijer by the sea

Meijer aan Zee in Zandvoort provides a wonderful experience on the beach. Just enjoy a good glass of wine or a delicious cocktail from Meijer’s Cocktail Club with your feet in the sand. But totally enjoy the cozy long tables, where you can enjoy the delicious dishes outside with friends on the beach.

Salty at Sea

Zilt aan Zee in IJmuiden is a real beach restaurant and not without reason. On the BBQ, they offer Life Cooking packages. But even more fun; owner Fred van Beusekom, can regularly be found on the water catching sea bass and cod. So he himself provides the ‘Catch of the Day’, so every day it is a surprise what is on the menu.

Club Zand

With a real glass greenhouse on the beach, Club Zand in Castricum is unique. Every Friday evening they organize the ‘Food Market Friday’ in it. The well-stocked market stall in the middle of the glasshouse is full of fresh meat, fish and vegetable products. Choose what you want to eat and it is prepared for you directly in the kitchen or on the braai. Enjoy your chosen meal with your feet in the sand.
