Groningen – Out and about in Groningen with Marian
Our blogger Marian has lived in many different places in the Netherlands in her life. Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, North Holland, South Holland and Overijssel. So she is an ideal blogger for OpstapmetLisa to tell us about many different nice places in the Netherlands. This time she gives us great tips for visiting Groningen!
Are you going to Groningen soon?
Then climb the Martini tower, what a view! And wander around the city, there is so much beauty to discover!
The Martini Church
Would you like to visit the church with a group and learn more about the church and its history? Then you can also book a guided tour that will take you either through the nave, or through the nave and vaults of the church.
A snack and drink at Feel Good
During our Groningen city trip, we went to the Feel Good. A breakfast and lunch café where you can get the most delicious food and drinks throughout the day. From American Chocolate Pancakes and Bali Breakfast to feel good bowls and meals like burgers, wraps and much more. Olala, that’s where I would want to crash for a whole day with a book. From coffee to lunch, smoothie to dinner…. i couldn’t choose!
My oldest son got my culinary inkling: enjoying all the new flavors, he was full of joy, just like me! Truly fan-tas-tastic, you must have been here! How delicious, how fresh, how healthy! And what a good atmosphere! You can find this must-visit on the Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat.
Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat
In this nice place you will find many more nice stores. For example, there are many special (interior) stores with a varied selection. Especially if you are a fan of vintage, you should definitely not skip this shopping street. But also if you are looking for a good book, a gift or a place to just relax, Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat is the place to be!
The best cocktails in the Netherlands can be found in Groningen
