Fall is just around the corner and that means we’ll be spending more time indoors again. Therefore, make it cozy in your home! The ultimate autumn accessory in the house is of course a bowl of ornamental pumpkins. You can buy them at the garden center, but how nice is it to immerse yourself in the autumn atmosphere at a real pumpkin farm? We went out and found some nice ones for you.

The Marlequi in Warmenhuizen

The Marlequi in Warmenhuizen, North Holland, is one of the largest pumpkin farms in North Holland. They grow and sell both edible pumpkins and ornamental pumpkins. At the Marlequi you can attend several workshops such as a pumpkin carving workshop. Besides pumpkins, they sell ornamental gourds and you can also stay overnight. An ideal outing for the family or with the family!

Pumpkin farm van Stee in Lelystad

In Flevoland you will find Pumpkin Farm van Stee. At this farm, they grow a diverse assortment of gourds and pumpkins. That the fruit is versatile can be found on their website, among other things. They have collected nice recipes for you to make the most delicious autumn dishes.

Pumpkin patch Twente in Mander

De Pompoenerie Twente has a pumpkin show every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September and October between 11:00 and 17:00. On all other days of the week, only the outdoor area is open, but pumpkins will be for sale. On Mondays, the pumpkin show is closed. Just browse among the pumpkins and pick out some nice ones for your home!

Pumpkin Factory in Lisse

In Lisse, you can find pumpkin nursery Pumpkin Factory. Besides the pumpkins they grow they also have a picking garden, how fun is that! The nursery is actually always open because it has a “help yourself” nature which allows you to pick your own pumpkins and checkout in cash or via a payment request. They also regularly make delicious dishes with pumpkin that you can then taste.

Pumpkinerie Marie in Leidschendam

Pompoenerie Marie has been a household name in South Holland for years. You can find all kinds of pumpkins but the real Halloween lover is also at the right place. They also sell real Halloween pumpkins that you have to carve yourself. This is a really nice autumn activity for the weekend and of course for the autumn vacations.

Pure from the land in Bunnik

In Bunnik you will find pumpkin nursery Puur van ‘t Land. Together with his grandfather, Eli Bosboom grows the most beautiful pumpkins and gourds. With these you can decorate your house and garden in autumn! And on October 26 and 27, Puur van ‘t Land organizes pumpkin carving days. From 10:00 to 16:00 you are welcome to carve your own pumpkins for Halloween! There will also be delicious pumpkin snacks for sale.

Groentenhof Poelen in Groesbeek

In Groesbeek, Gelderland, you will find pumpkins in all shapes and sizes at Groentenhof Poelen. In addition to a pumpkin farm, Chris and Laura Poelen have a store, a B&B and a cozy terrace. They have also created a cookbook full of pumpkin recipes. Imagine yourself abroad for a moment. After a visit to Groentenhof Poelen, you will definitely be ready for this autumn.

Charlotte’s Pumpkins in IJzendijke

In IJzendijke, Zeeland, there is plenty to do this fall at Charlotte’s Pumpkins! From Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 there will be all kinds of fun activities around pumpkins, such as various workshops, a wine tasting with pumpkin snacks on Sept. 28, on Oct. 5 it’s pumpkin picking day where everyone can help and on Oct. 26 it’s pumpkin garden day. October 19, 24 and 31 is Halloween 4 Kids.
