Eating out in ‘s-Gravenzande
‘s-Gravenzande is one of the village centers of the municipality of Westland. This cozy village is close to the sea and in addition to nice stores, this village has many types of restaurants, many of which are centrally located on a cozy market square. The market square
The old inn “De Spaansche Vloot,” a listed building on the market square, has housed Brasserie Chapter since 2019. They have chosen to put several small dishes on the menu. Then you do not have to choose, for a main course, but can taste from several dishes.
A little further on the market square is another number of restaurants, including Het Galjoen. They serve classic dishes with a modern twist. From the restaurant you have a view of the open kitchen. Here, on the KOPA charcoal oven, delicious grill dishes are prepared.
On the sunniest side of the market square are restaurants De Buren and eatery De Witte. De Witte is a household name in ‘s-Gravenzande.
Seven days a week you are welcome. On the menu are the familiar dishes such as carpaccio, saté or a good piece of steak, but they also always have changing seasonal dishes. During the summer period, next to the café, they have Ice Cream Parlor Il Bianco, where they make them many flavors of ice cream every day.
De Buren is a stylish restaurant with beautiful and tasty, beautifully presented dishes and with good service. The extensive High Wine and High Tea are highly recommended here.
Even more dining out in ‘s-Gravenzande
Next door to these top restaurants is Plan B. They stand for Beer, Barista and Bites. Plan B offers various dishes with home-roasted coffee during the day and, of course, you have the option of opting for a beer tasting.
In the extension of the market square, on Langestraat, there are several more cozy restaurants. Restaurant Milos offers delicious typical Greek dishes. The wonderfully cozy and attractively decorated Bistro de Herberg is known for its grill specialties. The spare ribs and steak are favorites, but the menu also offers varieties for meat and veg lovers.
Since 2019, Brownies & Downies has also established itself in ‘s-Gravenzande. Where you can go for a nice lunch or cup of coffee with of course a homemade brownie.
