Last March 1, Restaurant Heinde en Ver in Delft opened its doors to the public. And Sonja from OpstapmetLisa was there!

Outing with the walking club

Our walking club started about a year ago while we were waiting at our boys’ judo practice. Now there are six of us and we walk many kilometers per week. Because a nice friendship has developed, we sometimes do something fun together. Like going out for dinner. After all, good food and drink is everyone’s hobby. We quickly set the date, now we need to find a location!

New in Delft

A few weeks ago, a flyer suddenly dropped on the doormat. On March 1, a new restaurant would open its doors. Since the restaurant is located in Delft, we could combine the pleasant with the useful. We would walk here! So make a reservation quickly and study the menu, because they have a special concept and it would be a shame to miss out on something delicious!

Tapas concept in a different jacket

At Heinde en Ver you do not order a traditional menu, but order two smaller dishes per round per person. There are dishes with meat, with fish and vegetarian dishes. Don’t forget to save room for dessert! There really is something for everyone, too. What about the ham on the bone, the Thai chicken satay, the duo of salmon and tuna, the vegetable croquettes or the goat cheese from the oven? And this is just a sampling of the menu!

A fixed price

What is also nice is that there is one fixed price. This also includes all drinks. From Monday to Thursday you pay € 34.50 per person and from Friday to Sunday € 39.50. Very nice, because you know exactly where you stand. You see this concept a lot at buffet restaurants, but at Heinde en Ver you don’t have to leave your seat. You are simply served at your own table.

A wonderful evening

We were given our own host for the evening. He first came to explain to us how ordering was done. So per person you choose two dishes from the menu. You write the numbers of those dishes on a piece of paper. Made a choice? Then you put the leaf in the appropriate stand so the host can see that you have made your choice. Everything was equally delicious and everyone at our table enjoyed.

Definitely recommended

We were all full and it was a good thing we still had a brisk walk ahead of us! Should you want to eat out in Delft? Then definitely keep this restaurant in mind. You will certainly not regret it!
