Oma Ietje is all about feeling good. This is reflected in the cozy terrace, the friendly atmosphere of the restaurant and the comfort food dishes from around the world that they give their own twist. Grandma Ietje is open from 10:00 am and between 10:00 and 10:30 am you can have a delicious worldly breakfast. Will you go for the american pancakes, a full English breakfast or will you choose the yogurt with homemade granola and fresh fruit? Of course with a nice cup of coffee to really start the day!
Delicious lunch
Lunch at Grandma Ietje can be had between 11:30 am and 4:00 pm. So there’s no need to rush. Enjoy the surprising sandwiches such as Rendang, Chipotle Tuna and Shawarama Delight. Or choose a delicious Panzanella or Indian salad. For the big appetite, choose from Granny’s burger, the Mexican Vegan burger, Korean stew or delicious sticky Indonesian eggplant.
Pleasant dining
Starting at 4:30 p.m., we make it cozy with delicious food to share dishes. Think grilled sardines, Teriyaki tenderloin, Lebanese lamb balls, Polenta, Tabouleh and much more. It’s also a feast for the real sweet tooth at Grandma Ietje. Once you have tasted Oma’s Kliederzooi, you will never want anything else. All dishes are freshly made, with many vega(-n) options.
Accessibility and parking
Oma Ietje is easily accessible by public transportation. It is located in the H-Buurt, Heesterveld, next to metro station Bullewijk (400 m from Amsterdam Arena, the same stop as Ikea) where metro 54 (Central Station-Gein) and 50 (Isolatorweg-Gein)stop. Grandma Ietje is also easily accessible by car (exit 112, direction Diemen, exit H-neighborhood). Parking is available nearby for 1.40 Euro per hour.
And at only 1 stop by metro (metro station Bullewijk), 5 minutes drive and less than 500 meters walk from Ziggo Dome and the Johan Cruijff Arena, Oma Ietje is the ideal place for a bite to eat before your concert or soccer night.
