The nice weather is just around the corner so we are all going out again. Cycling or walking! It’s nice to be able to take a break in between, for example at a cosy tea garden! We have some tips to make your day outside even more enjoyable!

Theetuin de Kwakel in Snelrewaard – Utrecht

Cycling or walking in the outskirts of Woerden? Then you might pass by Theetuin de Kwakel in the village of Snelrewaard. This cozy tea garden has plenty of space and hostess Elske bakes the most delicious cakes. But you can also go there for an extensive high tea. Ideal for a relaxing stopover. The tea garden, like many other tea gardens, reopens on April 1, so plan your route soon!

Tea Garden Vanilla in Broekhuizen – Limburg

On the edge of nature reserve the Schuitwater you will find, hidden among the greenery, tea garden Vanilla on the beautiful estate De Roode Vennen. In the conservatory, on the raised and covered terrace is a tea and coffee shop. Of particular note are the tea menu with various kinds of delicious teas and the homemade pastries. Here we use as much as possible products of the season and from the region or even from our own garden.

Theetuin de Bongaard in de Lier – South Holland

Cycling in the Westland is always fun. Don’t forget to take some change because local growers offer all kinds of delicious and fresh products along the way. But all that cycling and shopping makes you tired. High time to relax at Theetuin de Bongaard in De Lier! In addition to a delicious high tea or lunch, you can also find nice gadgets such as special cards. Reservation for high tea is really necessary because it is one of the most popular tea gardens in this region!

The Millinger Tea Garden in Millingen aan de Rijn – Gelderland

The Millinger Tea Garden in Millingen aan de Rijn, Gelderland, can only be reached by bicycle or on foot. See, that’s how we like it! This tea garden is literally an Oriental paradise on earth. In fact, the tea garden is Oriental-Mediterranean inspired and has all cozy and mysterious corners. All dishes are vegetarian and you can go there for breakfast, lunch or a festive high tea. You must discover this gem!

Tea Garden Vierakker – Gelderland

At Theetuin Vierakker you can quietly enjoy delicious tea and coffee, and mostly homemade pie and cake. But you can also take a lovely walk over the one and a half hectare terrain and discover special trees, plants and bushes in the botanical garden. You can do this on your own or with a guide during one of the guided tours. Relax after your bike ride through the beautiful surroundings of the Achterhoek and IJssel landscape. Or enjoy a performance (usually on Sunday afternoons) or view the regularly changing exhibitions.

Jorine’s Tea Garden in Budel-Dorplein – North Brabant

Located on a cycling hub full of scenic routes you will find Jorine’s Tea Garden. The North Brabant town of Budel-Dorplein is a protected village site and this tea garden is truly an oasis of tranquility. Want to see more of the village? Then book in advance for a village walk accompanied by a local guide. But of course you can also choose to relax with a nice cup of tea and fresh pastries.

Eemnes tea garden on the edge of the Gooi – Utrecht

Looking for fairytale tea gardens during a bike ride or hike? Then Theetuin Eemnes is definitely a must! This tea garden is quite popular, but scattered around the grounds are several small seating areas that still give you the idea of being alone for a while. Sander and Hester are ready to make your moment of rest extra special. You can even get married there!
