Prison Escape, more than an escape room

By now we are all familiar with the concept of escape rooms. You get locked in a room with a bunch of friends or colleagues. The clock starts ticking and it is only through a combination of cooperation and nerves of steel that you manage to get out of the room in time. A very fun activity to do that alternates between making you laugh or buckling your knees. But are you already familiar with Prison Escape?

Prison Escape

Prison Escape is a Real Life Game in Breda and is the only one in the world to be experienced in the Netherlands. The event was first launched in Rotterdam 2.5 years ago and has since moved to Breda’s Koepelgevangenis. During the game, the idea is to try to escape. Experience a piece of Prison Escape with us in these videos.

The game

You will be given a jumpsuit, a prisoner photo (called a mugshot) will be taken of you and you will have to listen to Director Keizer and his 80 guards. These 80 guards are interactive actors who respond to the things you say or suggest.

This cinematic experience is an absolute bucket list experience you must experience. You forget time and space and truly imagine yourself in another world. The world where you are just a number and have to deal with the rigid regime of director Emperor and his guards.
