Shopping in The Hague
One of the favorite pastimes of our intern and guest blogger Noa (18) is shopping. And now that it is possible again, she goes all out! She prefers to go shopping in The Hague. She wrote a blog about it:
Noa: I come from the neighborhood of The Hague myself so when I go shopping one day I usually do it in the center of The Hague. That’s where my favorite stores are and it’s cozy. I usually shop with my friends but also often with my mother who all love shopping.
A day in The Hague is a must for everyone! You really have a lot to do and see. Let’s start with the nice shopping streets and many cozy squares and streets with countless fashion boutiques and vintage stores where shop addicts can indulge themselves completely. The Hague city center contains so many stores: whatever you are looking for it is there! And in addition, there are many historic buildings in the center giving your shopping experience an extra touch.

For the famous stores, go to the Spui-,Vene-,Vlaming-, and Wagenstraat. In this area are my favorite stores like the Zara, Costes and H&M. And if you have a more luxurious taste you can go to the exclusive stores that are on the Hofkwartier, Noordeinde, Hoogstraat and on the Denneweg. Here are some more brand stores like Red Carpet, Marc Cain, LaSalle, Claudia Strater and Tommy Hilfiger. Then we also have the vintage stores not to forget those are also found a lot in The Hague one of the best known are Zusjes Vintage Boetiek and Vintage Factory. Also the renewed Foodhallen in The Hague is really an experience with 12 food stands and 2 bars there must be something tasty you like. The foodhallen can be found at the Haagse bluf.
Other options
If you do not really like shopping there are of course other things to do such as visiting the Binnenhof, the Ridderzaal, the Torentje of the prime minister and the Hofvijver that are all famous places in The Hague where you should definitely take a look. And of course if you are completely out shopping you should also know what the best restaurants in The Hague are.
