The Huishoudbeurs is coming up again! For me, this is the perfect time for a fun mother-daughter outing with my mother. In recent years we have visited this fair together at least 10 times. Of course it is not only for mothers and daughters, but also with friends you will have a nice day. We often go by car and park it in the parking garage of the RAI. Of course, you can also take the train because the station is almost next to the entrance of the RAI. The Huishoudbeurs is actually a combination of a large market, booth workers, demonstrations, fashion shows and performances by Dutch celebrities. In the several halls you can easily spend a few hours.
Latest trends
You can’t think of anything else that is offered at the Huishoudbeurs. You can go there for the latest makeup trends and related products. You can also shop for a new outfit because there is no shortage of clothing and shoes. You will find everything from small boutiques with ibiza style clothing to the famous large fashion chains. Complete your outfit with jewelry or a nice bag. You can also follow different workshops. And if you want to regain your strength after all that shopping, there is a mini Pasar Malam where you can eat delicious Indonesian dishes.
Fun for everyone
Personally, I really enjoy looking for nice decoration gadgets to dress up your home with. By default, we always end up in, as we irreverently call it, the food hall. In this hall the latest products from the supermarket are advertised which you can then taste and buy with a nice fair offer. Not to mention, in this hall you will also find a separate section for 18 where you can taste delicious liquors and wine.
Tips from Jacqueline
From February 19 to 22 there is also the 9 months fair. This fair is also accessible with your Huishoudbeurs ticket. And another tip from this seasoned Huishoudbeurs visitor: bring a bag with wheels! Because believe me, at the end of the day you can hardly lift your bag because of all the great bargains you made that day!
