The Great Illusion at Teylers Museum

The Teylers Museum in Haarlem is always fun to visit: Marvel at the magnificent fossils, minerals, instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries and art collected by Pieter Teyler van der Hulst in his lifetime. Next door to the museum is the former home of this stone-rich textile merchant and banker (and also visitable!). Until September 1, there is extra fun at Teylers Museum because of The Great Illusion! I visited this exhibition myself and enjoyed it!

Bunkerday

On Saturday, May 25, it is again Bunkerday! On this day, the bunkers along the Atlantikwal are open to the public between 10:00 and 17:00. Unique: because normally bunkers are not accessible. Led by a guide, you will learn all about the function of the bunkers, who built them and many other interesting facts. Fun for young and old!
