Lake Henschoter Lake – Woudenberg
Located in the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the Henschotermeer offers an ideal place for a fun day out. If you want to do something active, you can play a game of beach volleyball or boot camp. And with a perimeter of 2,500 meters, you can also take a lovely walk or run around the lake.

A perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax. Please note that from April 1 to September 30 you have to pay an entrance fee to recreate at the Henschotermeer. A day ticket costs €3.50 per person. Season tickets can also be purchased.
Ouderkerkerplas – Amsterdam
Recreational area the Ouderkerkerplas is the place to be for nature and water sports enthusiasts. You can even camp there for the day! You can dive in the lakes and rent canoes. But even if you stick to hiking, this place is very popular. From October 15 to April 15, the dog is allowed too! And you can relax at Paviljoen a/d PLAS where you can have lunch, dinner or just a drink. And the dog is welcome too!
The Zandmeren – Kerkdriel
The Zandmeren is a complete recreation park in the Bommelerwaard, in one of the beautiful floodplains along the river Maas. You can recreate here not only during the day, but also overnight. With its vast expanse of water and favorable wind conditions, this is a mecca for water sports enthusiasts. From windsurfing to water skiing, here you will find all the ingredients for an exciting day on the water. Vlietland – Leidschendam-Voorburg
Originating in 1970 as a sand mining area, Vlietland has grown into a popular water sports, recreation and nature area in South Holland, spread over a whopping 300 hectares. This sprawling area is popular for its three beautiful lakes, covering an area of about 130 hectares, surrounded by lush forests, graceful creeks and expansive sunbathing meadows that invite you to relax.
Daredevils can indulge in the climbing park or aqua park, while lovers of sailing, surfing and rowing can join local clubs. There are also a variety of boats for rent, from pedal boats to sailing and motor boats. The many trails that crisscross Vlietland are ideal for hikers, cyclists and even horseback riders. Activities bustle here year-round, with weekly events taking place especially in the summer.
