Cozy up to the cinema!

It’s getting colder and darker earlier, so where do you go when you still want to get away from it all? To the cinema of course! Because going to the movies is always fun and you can do it with friends or the whole family! We have listed the best movies for the coming period. Have fun at the cinema!
Choose a nice movie theater
Of course there are many nice cinemas in the Netherlands. Pathé is the most famous one in the region where we have our headquarters. Pathé Delft is our favorite. But Kinepolis is also on the rise. We love going to the Kinepolis branch in Zoetermeer. It is a small-scale cinema. An additional advantage is the break. Sometimes with small children it is handy to be able to stretch your legs or visit a toilet in between. Vue Cinemas has several branches in the Netherlands. We love going to the one in Alphen aan den Rijn!
Movies for the whole family
Also the coming months there are nice movies running in the cinema for the whole family. The film “Waar is het grote boek van Sinterklaas” has been showing since October 16. The long-awaited film Frozen II runs in cinemas from November 20, but also films such as The Addams Familiy (from December 4), Neighbor and Neighbor (from November 21), Mees Kees in de Wolken (from December 11), Willy on the unknown planet (from December 4) and Spies Secrets (from December 25) are worth seeing for the whole family!
Also fun for slightly older children are the films The Club of the Ugly Children (from Oct. 6), Eia’s Christmas Party (from Dec. 5), Aïlo the Reindeer Boy (from Nov. 6) and Dolittle (from Jan. 16, 2020) are tremendous fun.
Cinema movies with girlfriends
Personally, I am greatly looking forward to the Christmas movie “Last Christmas” with Emilia Clarke (from Game of Thrones), among others. This movie can be seen on November 7. Another fun Christmas movie is Noëlle from Disney. This movie runs in theaters starting Nov. 8.
Still some time to see but oh so fun is the movie F*ck love. This movie is running since October 3. Another hilarious Dutch production is Huisvrouwen bestaan niet 2 (showing from Dec. 12).
And from December 19 you can enjoy the Dutch film April, May & June with Linda de Mol, among others.
Exciting cinema films
But even if you prefer to go to movies with a bit of suspense, you are in the right place in the coming period. Penoza the final chapter can be seen in cinemas from November 28. Also Docter Sleep, based on a book by Stephen King is not suitable for wimps. You can see this movie starting November 7. “Bumperkleef” is a horror of Dutch origin, to be seen from Oct. 31.
For those who are a little nostalgic for the old days, the movie “Terminator: dark fate (from Oct. 31) is definitely a must-see. And the men of Bad Boys will also be back in action in January! With Bad Boys for life on January 23, 2020.
