Fun outings for a group activity – workshops

Life is a party but you have to hang the garlands yourself. So time for fun activities! There is always a reason to do this: a bachelor party, baby shower, special birthday or other special occasion of one of your girlfriends. There are lots of fun, educational, tasty and sporty activities. Too many to mention them all and therefore difficult to choose from. That is why we will try to give you some ideas in the coming months. This time we give you an overview of fun workshops to do with your friends or colleagues.

Making chocolates

In both Haarlem and Hillegom you can pour the most delicious chocolate during the chocolate workshops of Chocolaterie Pierre. You will get to work making delicious chocolate products. After a short story about the history, origin and production of our cacao, you start coloring and pouring a hollow figure, making bonbons and peanut brittle or student flicks. In short: creative, informative and of course great fun to do.

Earlier we told you that Le Cacao in Wateringen is a very nice location for a high tea. But you can also follow several workshops at Le Cacao to make chocolates or bonbons .

De Bonte Koe in Rotterdam is known for its delicious and special chocolate. Also here you can follow different workshops. For making chocolates, but also macarons.

The other day we were in Heemstede and there we found a very nice Chocolaterie, Van Dam. Here you take a chocolate making workshop. You make one whole kilo of chocolate! And the nice thing is, you get to take everything home!

At patissiers Femke and Sander in Reeuwijk you can even follow a lot of different workshops . Namely Bonbon making, a high tea workshop, appetizer workshop,
Pastry workshop and (wedding) cake workshop.

Jewelry making

On the edge of Delft ‘s old city center you will find the fashion company Lazuli Creations. Here they offer various creative workshops. Like a jewelry workshop, but also a workshop dream catcher and/or tree of life pendant making and glass bead burning. Highly recommended to check out their website.

At Atelier Myrthe in The Hague you go one step further. Here you make a beautiful silver ring during the goldsmithing workshop. In about 2.5 hours you will turn a strip of silver into a ring. There are 4 workshops available, so it’s an event for a small group, but well worth it!

Saramo Jewelry is based in Amstelveen, but organizes their jewelry workshops on location. So choose your own fine location to learn how to make a beautiful necklace or bracelet.

HanneHaves also organizes her workshops on location. You can choose for a workshop making Ibiza bracelets and a workshop pimping slippers.

Do you live in the east of the country? Then Sieraad&Zo in Rheden is a very nice organization that organizes many different workshops. For example, you can learn to make wrap bracelets, rings, scarves, necklaces and combination jewelry here.

Making text signs

Do you want to try something different again? Then how fun is it to make your own text board! At boostevents in Scheveningen you can make your own text board with the nicest sayings and texts. Nice to hang in the kitchen, living room or kids room.

In the north of the country you can make cool text boards during a workshop at Linda’s Workshop Paradise. You can find her workshop on her farm in Uithuizermeeden in the north of Groningen. You can also enjoy a delicious farmer’s lunch or high tea here and browse the gift shop.

You can also take a text board workshop at FEMZ in Tilburg and Breda. You can combine this workshop with a nice lunch, high tea or dinner.

Sushi workshops

That we love good food most of you know by now. We also love sushi! How much fun would it be to learn how to make your own delicious sushi at a real sushi workshop? This is possible at the Sushi Master, for example. Everyone gets their own bowl of ingredients so the sushi can be made to everyone’s taste and preference. They have several permanent locations in Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Breda, The Hague, Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Meppel, Rotterdam and Zwolle.

Tapas workshops

To stay in the food theme, you can also plan a really fun tapas workshop. The Tapasworkshop organizes its workshops at locations of your choice. As long as there is a table where everyone can sit and a small kitchen where everything can be prepared and cleaned. But also through Puur Rotterdam you can have a nice Tapas workshop with a group of 10 people or more. They arrange a cozy location in Rotterdam where you and your group can come and learn how to make the tastiest Spanish delicacies.

Workshop cock pimping

In our search for fun workshops, we came across a very special one; a workshop pimping cocks…. :-). It made us giggle here at the office, but I couldn’t resist including it in this blog. Because how funny is this to organize for your BFF’s bachelorette party! This workshop is held on location. All you need is a good table filled with all plaster dicks that you and your girlfriends get to decorate with paint, glitter and you name it. A little crazy, but guaranteed to be a workshop full of fun!
