An evening of jumping for adults at Bounce Valley
Recently we were guests at Bounce Valley in Rotterdam. Now you will think, jumping in an indoor airpark, isn’t that something for kids! But nothing could be further from the truth! On Fridays and Saturdays the evenings are specifically for ages 15 and older. The perfect opportunity to let off steam on the bouncy cushions.
Bounce Valley
Bounce Valley is the first and largest airpark in the Netherlands and now has 4 branches, namely in Rotterdam, Breda, Enschede and Zoetermeer. With a group of 7 girls (aged between 38 and 49…) we visited the Rotterdam branch.
Beforehand, none of us really had an idea about Bounce Valley and how we would experience it as adults. Of course we have all been to indoor playgrounds and amusement parks with the kids, but then it is more the intention that you sit on the side with a cup of tea and watch the kids, than that you jump yourself. And now it was our turn! We took advantage of the Night Deal, which not only allowed us to jump for 2 hours, but also unlimited pizza.
Our evening of bouncing
Upon entering, we were each given 2 more tokens with which to order some drinks and walked downstairs to stow our shoes and bags in the lockers they provide for guests. Of course, we immediately went exploring. The super-sized hall was almost entirely covered in air cushions. Walking through the park, the suspension of the cushions soon turned us into bouncing. We climbed steps, slid down slides, made high jumps and free falls and competed in the obstacle run. We soon became giggly about it. Pretty fun to get to completely let loose for once ourselves, instead of sitting along the sidelines.
By now fairly out of breath and sweaty, we decided to cool off and order some pizza and a refreshing drink to go with it. And when those were finished we went for the second round. Some of us battled it out on the last man standing while the others battled it out again in the obstacle run. Super fun all around!
Ideal place for a party
Bounce Valley is highly recommended if you want to have a night to let loose with some friends or girlfriends. Great for an anniversary party, birthday or bachelorette party. It will definitely be a fun crazy night.
After our 2-hour set was over, we all went to a bar to talk about the evening while enjoying some wine and tapas.
This is what the other girls thought
On Saturday night Bouncing and eating pizza. What a party! Because it’s for all ages and there are many social elements in the course, such as the “obstacle run” and “last man standing,” it’s a top event for bachelorette parties and team-building outings, for example. I enjoyed this evening jumping and playing on the air cushions! -Annette-
Wondering where we were going, surprised by the size of the cushion. After jump 1 you feel the child coming up. No matter how old you are it is super fun. Definitely recommend. -Yf-
What a mega bouncy castle! Super for a fun and active outing but also for a great workout. -Pauline-
Upon entering I was already excited! The stairs up already arouse your curiosity, once upstairs you have a good overview of the large hall and bouncy castle! We were kindly helped by the staff. The jumping itself is great fun! The feeling of freedom when you come off the mat, your hair dancing in all directions! In short, a wonderful feeling! I really recommend it, you just have to do this once! -Annet –
