Foodhallen

Do you ever visit a food hall? No? Then we have some tips to make sure you do. There are a lot of nice food halls in the Netherlands. The nice thing about eating in a food hall is that there are dishes from many different cuisines. You really have the feeling of walking on a bazaar somewhere in a faraway country while all the delicious smells make your stomach growl. These are our favorite food halls.

Foodhallen Haagse Bluf

The foodhallen in the Haagse Bluf are a perfect stopover while shopping. The Haagse Bluf is a “hidden” gem in The Hague’s downtown shopping district. In the food halls Haagse Bluf you will find all kinds of cozy corners where you can enjoy the most diverse dishes. Will you go for a snack, a drink or a well-filled drink board? Or would you rather enjoy an extensive lunch or dinner? It is all possible!

Foodhallen Rotterdam

Next to the Market Hall you will find the Foodhallen Rotterdam on the Wilhelminapier. The 12 food stands here are located in Pakhuismeesteren: a monumental building that stood empty for 40 years. Now you will find an industrial urban jungle with nice spots, good food and entertainment! On Tuesdays there is live music and on Fridays a DJ plays. The Foodhallen Rotterdam are open daily until midnight and on Friday and Saturday even until 1 am.

The Market Hall in Rotterdam

The Market Hall in Rotterdam offers something for everyone and for every moment. Whether you choose to enjoy a tasty lunch, a quick bite to eat or take the goodies home with you: it’s all possible. Don’t forget to take a good look around during your visit because the Market Hall is a very special building. In the Market Hall, besides food and drink, you will also find fun gifts and beautiful flowers.

Foodhallen

Foodhall Breda

In the Foodhall Breda you will find all world cuisines under one roof. This foodhall is right in the center of Breda, making it the perfect base during a day of shopping in Breda. Here you can recover with everything from poffertjes to Brazilian street food. Something is regularly organized such as a game night, live music and during big sporting events the big screen goes on.

Foodhall Arnhem

Planning a day out in Arnhem ? Then be sure to make a stop at the Foodhall Arnhem. You can find this foodhall when you walk along the quay from the John Frost Bridge. In winter this culinary hotspot is nice and warm while in summer it is transformed into Foodhall Beach! Sit outside and enjoy the most delicious international dishes. What more could you ask for?

The tasting plant in Veghel

Eating in an old factory? You can in Veghel. The Proeffabriek is located on the Noordkade: the former industrial area of the city. Where once stood warehouses where raw materials were stored you now find, among other things, a culinary fairytale forest. There is also a cinema, an escaperoom and an industrial museum. Perfect for a complete day out!

Downtown Gourmet Market in Eindhoven

In Eindhoven you will find no less than 20 different world cuisines in one place! The Downtown Gourmet Market also has a very convenient concept: you sit down in one of the cozy corners, you order your favorite dish via an app and it is brought to your table. Now that’s a treat! Making a choice is perhaps the most difficult part of your visit.

Malt in Hilversum

Finally, we have a particularly nice location in Hilversum. Almost the building in which Mout is located was demolished, but fortunately that was put to a stop. After a thorough renovation, besides enjoying world dishes from different cuisines, you can also enjoy various special beers from the Gooische Bierbrouwerij. You can even sign up for a tour or a tasting!
