The cutest home accessories can be found at Loods 5

On a hot Saturday I traveled with a friend to Sliedrecht. There is one of the six branches of Loods 5. My friend was looking for some nice home accessories and I had not been to Loods 5 for ages. High time for a visit.

Several branches

We visited the store in Sliedrecht, but there are more. In Zaandam, where it all started, there are two branches. A regular store and an outlet store. You can also find Loods 5 in Amersfoort, Duiven and Maastricht. So there is always a Loods 5 near you.

Lots of accessories

When I arrived in Sliedrecht I could not believe my eyes. What a lot of home accessories! I could remember from before that there was mainly furniture and much less accessories. So I was immediately pleasantly surprised. I wanted to buy everything! Especially at the accessories and gift items from Zusss and 100%Leuk we lingered extra long.

We stared our eyes out at all the cushion covers, lamps, houseplants and matching pots and children’s room accessories. Every time we turned a corner there were new things! Everything for the kitchen such as handy storage devices, nice pots and pans and handy gadgets were also in abundance.

Cool furniture

The furniture was also very much to our taste. Very sturdy, lots of wood and good quality. And not even excessively expensive. I especially love the furniture from VT Wonen. But we also really appreciated the furniture and accessories from Cosy Ibiza. They made us really happy. Because it was all too much to look at in one go, we decided to do an “entrance tour” first and then go back. But even during our entrance lap, the cart was already pretty full.

One upstairs, too!

After a decent walk on the first floor, we found out that there was also an upstairs! So we parked the cart and headed up the stairs. Upstairs it was very hot but there was also a lot to see. There was more furniture upstairs than on the first floor and since we were mainly going for accessories, we did this section a little faster. We were also getting hungry so it was high time to try out the restaurant.

Good food too

Because it was such beautiful weather, it was nice and quiet in Loods 5. Also in the restaurant! We both ordered a salad and it was freshly prepared on the spot. The sandwiches and cakes also looked delicious. During lunch we could relax and think about what else we wanted to buy. We also decided that we will definitely come back one day, probably around Christmas time.

Tired but satisfied

Our second round obviously went a lot faster than the first and still we saw new things. So we left Loods 5 very satisfied. With nice things for at home and for gifts. What fun, special gifts you can also find here.

Also for men, because there was a whole barbecue department with cool accessories and leather aprons. The Bad Boys Brand brand also makes cool garden fireplaces. A special detail is that all the stuff they make is made in prison. So if you are still looking for something for Father’s Day, a visit to a Loods 5 location is definitely worth it!
