Wijdewormer – La Storia

After his father Mario Uva won several awards for his delicious Italian flavors, youngest son Emilio couldn’t stay behind. Since 2015, Emilio and his wife Daphne have owned La Storia. Unfortunately, Mario Uva is no longer among us, but his thoughts live on in the work of Emilio Uva. Of course combined with his own experience and insights. So come and enjoy the antipasti, pasta, pizza and delicious dolci in the restaurant of this close-knit team!

Utrecht – San Siro

San Siro is known for spending a lot of time and attention to preparing classic Italian and traditional dishes. But with a modern twist. At this Italian restaurant in Utrecht, you can enjoy delicious Italian food in a beautiful historic building.

Rotterdam – Da Gianfranco

At Gianfranco you dream away to the Italian island of Sardinia. Because chef Gianfranco is a real ‘Sardo’ who has brought his roots to the kitchen of his Rotterdam restaurant. Here you get typical Italian dishes such as the insalata caprese, carpaccio, ossobuco, the pastas bolognese, carbonara and lasagna. For the always freshly prepared pizzas he has appointed a real pizzaiolo, who prepares the base freshly and with specially selected ingredients such as salami, oregano and basil, gives a pizza like the Royal Margherita, for example, an unbeatable taste.

Leiden – Restaurant City Hall

In the middle of the historic center of Leiden, you will find Italian bar-bistro City Hall, housed in part of the centuries-old monumental City Hall. The great combination of a beautiful location and a characteristic building, make City Hall a unique location. Once inside, olive green tiled pillars, a large open kitchen and a seven-meter-high cabinet full of Italian products define the picture. In the kitchen, chef Joost van der Lee swings the scepter. Together with his team, he ensures that the purity of the products is conveyed. Pure, honest and simple.

Maastricht – Gio’s

You can eat delicious Italian food on the most famous square in Limburg. Namely at Gio’s on the Vrijthof in Maastricht. At Gio’s they don’t work with a menu, but you can choose from two different menus that are told to you at the table. So you will be surprised with delicious changing dishes every time you come here. And from Gio’s terrace you also have a beautiful view of the square. And when André Rieu plays his home concert, you can enjoy his wonderful performance with a terrace package from Gio’s.
