In Appelscha, near the Drents-Friese Wold you will find Buitenplaats Hildenberg. As a family, we ourselves have already been able to enjoy this beautiful park twice. It is located on a golf course, so hitting a ball is definitely a possibility. There are vacation homes in all shapes and sizes, so ideal for both small and large families. In the summer the cozy Bosbad, which is located nearby, is open. Besides swimming, you can sunbathe here and enjoy the outdoors. And do you want a more sporty vacation? You can! For example, rent bicycles or go hiking in the beautiful nature of the Drents-Friese Wold!

We remain in the north of the country for a while and we look at Recreatiepark Tusken de Marren in the Frisian town of Akkrum. Vacation park Giethoorn is perfect for a wonderful family vacation. Enjoy playing, swimming and eating at Eetcafé Giethoorn. Now that’s enjoyment! Vacation Park Waterstaete is wonderfully luxurious and therefore the perfect location to completely unwind. All the cottages are located on the water and this park is pre-eminently perfect for water sports activities. You can also relax at Brasserie Oss&Zyl, Bakery, Bubbles & Bites.

We drop down to Twente where we found an awesome vacation park. Vacation park Mölke has not only beautiful accommodations but also a 5-star campsite. This park is also located on a river, so you and your family can have a great time on the water. In addition, there is plenty to do in the area. From relaxed hiking on the beautiful Sallandse Heuvelrug to farmer’s golf, a baby carriage ride or canoeing. For example, book the tree house that is equipped with all the luxury! Really something different!
