Our favorite beach towns

We love to enjoy ourselves at one of our favorite beach bars. With the sea in the background and a drink in hand, we really unwind. In this blog we tell you where we like to go on a nice day. And who knows, maybe you too will soon have a new favorite!

Pavilion on the lake

Right on the beach of the Ouderkerkerplas in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel you will find the atmospheric Strandpaviljoen a/d Plas, where you can not only eat well, but also chill out or relax after a nice walk in the surrounding nature. In fine weather you can enjoy a beach bed or on the terrace or if you want to give a party you have come to the right place. a/d PLAS is open daily from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 am and parking is free.

Hargen Beach Pavilion

Strandpaviljoen Hargen is a welcoming pavilion with a restaurant and a lovely spacious terrace. When you drive through the dunes of Hargen, you immediately get a vacation feeling. Strandpaviljoen Hargen is located in a unique nature reserve where you can walk, cycle and relax. From the terrace you can spot seals and enjoy the view of the sea. Having trouble with your bike? No problem. Hargen not only has the highest and widest dunes in our country, but in 2015 a beautiful lagoon was created. There is also everything for children to do. So go there for breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner soon.

Pier 7

Zandpaviljoen Pier 7 in Vlissingen, Zeeland, has a wonderfully casual Ibiza vibe. Here everyone – because this beach club is also suitable for the disabled – can relax with a nice drink and/or snack. You can even stay overnight! Pier 7 is open all year round, so even in winter you can warm up with hot chocolate and some goodies.

Barbarossa

Beach bar Barbarossa can be found on the Zwarte Pad in Scheveningen. Good food or a drink with a view of the sea, who wouldn’t want that? You can also have a relaxing breakfast at this hip beach bar. Wake up peacefully while sitting in the sun and enjoying the beautiful view. Definitely one of the most relaxed beach bars in Scheveningen!

Natural High

In Brouwersdam you will find the widest beach in the Netherlands. If, in addition to relaxation, you are also looking for a beach club where they offer fun water sports activities, then Natural High is for you. Whether you want to learn to kitesurf or surf, it’s all possible here.

Beachclub8

In Rockanje you will find Beachclub8. Because this beach club is located on a private beach you really feel like you are strolling somewhere abroad. There is a wonderful atmosphere, the food and drinks are great and you can also do all kinds of fun things from here such as yoga and kitesurfing.

Bondi Beach Club

Did you know that on the Westland coast you can also enjoy yourself! There are 8 beach entrances in Westland and only 6 beach clubs. Nice and convenient! In Monster you will find Bondi Beach Club. What a wonderful place this is. The staff is super nice and welcoming, the beach is not too crowded and the food is above average.

Uluwatu Beach

A real gourmet? Then Uluwatu Beach is for you. You will find this beach club at Hoek van Holland. They have everything culinary here, from breakfast to dinner, from shared dining to bites. This will get you through the day!

Don’t live on the coast? Then you can still enjoy the beach! Many cities have so-called city beaches. Here you will definitely get the beach-vibes too!
