Out and about on the scooter

Do you like to go out and discover beautiful places in the Netherlands but don’t feel like exerting yourself too much physically? Then buying an electric scooter is definitely worth your while. It will take you quickly from A to B, without you having to put in a lot of effort. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy all kinds of scenery, although of course it is important to keep your attention on the road as well. An electric scooter requires little maintenance, is silent, economical and environmentally friendly. That is why it is a good alternative to a gasoline scooter. So there is absolutely no need to feel guilty when you go out with an e-scooter. It only costs you a little bit of electricity.

Veluwezoom

Explore the beautiful National Park Veluwezoom with the electric scooter. Deer, wild boar and Scottish highlanders are not disturbed when you approach with your e-scooter to admire them in their own habitat. In the vast park you ride through forests, over estates, past sand drifts and heathlands. One of the highest points is the Posbank. From here you have a great view over the hills and in clear weather you can even see Germany. You can also see the heather, which blooms purple from mid-August, in full force from here. So the Posbank is a great place to take a break during the Veluwe tour during the scooter ride.

Around the Markermeer

Together with other scooter riders or a passenger with you on the back, it is fun to do a tour around Markermeer. On the way you can enjoy the beautiful nature, the rich past and visit nice places. Think of Marken, Monnickendam and of course Volendam. The Dike is a great place to rest, have a drink and a bite of herring. If necessary, you can recharge the battery of your electric scooter in the meantime. And of course, as a nice reminder, you will all have your picture taken in Volendam costume.

The Frisian Eleven Cities Tour

Another fun outing to take on the electric scooter: the Frisian Elfstedentocht. Or part of it, as the route is over 250 kilometers long in total. But of course you can make it a multi-day trip and stay overnight somewhere along the way. Besides visiting famous places like Bolsward, Dokkum, Franeker and Sloten, there is a lot to enjoy along the way. Polder areas, lots of lakes, the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer: on your electric scooter you will see it all. So recharge the battery and go on an adventure with your electric scooter. Thanks to the low-noise vehicle, you will enjoy the peace and quiet, the chirping of the birds and the mooing of the cows along the way.
