Tiki Pool Duinrell in Wassenaar

I can hear you thinking: isn’t the Tiki Pool only indoors? No way! From June 29, 2019 the Tiki Pool will be expanded with a super fun renewed outdoor pool! So you can also enjoy lots of outdoor swimming fun in Wassenaar (near The Hague). Should it be too hot? Then just go inside. Ideal! Duinrell is a great place to be anyway, even when it’s very hot. The trees provide shelter and there are several cooling attractions like the Splash! Great idea for the summer vacations!

Swimming pool De Vliet in Leiden

Where it’s also great to hang out is at Zwembad De Vliet in Leiden. Here you can cool off in the 50-meter pool, scream in the 49-meter slide or chill out on the grass. There is also plenty to do for the little ones because there is a fun paddling pool full of fun attributes. Another advantage: you can park for free at this pool!

Swimming pool De Vosse in Hillegom

Near Leiden, in the Bollenstreek, you will find the largest outdoor pool in the region, namely Zwembad de Vosse. This outdoor pool is very well maintained and there is plenty to do for young and old. For children there is also a playing island on the lawn and there are always lifeguards present to keep an eye on things. A very safe idea! Swimming always makes you hungry and that too has been thought of at this pool. Also here you can park your car for free. Ideal!

Badestein pool in Woerden

In Woerden you can also swim outside at the Badesteinbad. There is an indoor pool, but outside you can also splash to your heart’s content in the water playground. There is also a mini golf course, a freerun track, trampolines and a sand playground. Super fun for the whole family! And completely fenced in, so it’s safe too. Access to the park is free! Please note that dogs, with the exception of assistance dogs, are not allowed.

Poel’s Up in Amstelveen

Previously the floating pontoon Poel’s Up could be found in the Amstel River, nowadays you can enjoy swimming here at the bank of De Poel in Amstelveen. This floating outdoor pool belongs to the Fun Center Amstelveen and provides a nice view of the Amsterdam Forest. The pool consists of five connected pontoons. They are equipped with a bar, terrace, sanitary facilities and changing rooms. Total size is 500 m² and the pool itself is 18 x 5 meters. In high winds, Poel’s Up is closed!

The Bredius pool in Amsterdam

This heated outdoor pool in Amsterdam is very suitable for families with children. You can have a great time at the Brediusbad on hot days and it is very quiet and green. There’s also sure to be something for the hungry at the snack cart. Don’t be surprised if suddenly people without clothes are walking around, because they are also welcome in this pool.
