Hooray!!! Summer vacation is almost here! Around us we hear many people who indicate that they are really ready to relax. In this blog we will give you many tips for fun outings during the summer vacations. From days out in your own country to tips for outings with children and what you can do when it rains.

Days out in your own country

Are you staying at home but want to go on day trips in your own country? We have tips for that too! Fancy a day at the beach? Then choose for example a nice beach club. We have previously written a blog series with tips for different beach clubs. For active people, people looking for peace and quiet, people with small children, you name it! Summer vacations with (small) children

Do you have children? Then they are free for a very long time. If you don’t go away, it can be quite difficult to entertain them. We have tips for that too! Oh no! It’s raining!

Well, this is still the Netherlands. We are not blessed with a stable climate. One day the sparrows fall from the roof and the next day you can put on your rain boots. But even then you can have a great time with the kids. After all, there are lots of great museums in the Netherlands. For example, visit Ripley’s Believe it or Not! or the Veenkoloniaal Museum in Veendam. But the Gevangenpoort in The Hague has also been completely renovated. And have you ever been to the National Military Museum in Soesterberg? That is highly recommended for the whole family! They offer plenty of fun summer holiday activities including driving yourself in a cool mini-tank! Would you rather stay home? Of course you can! Do you have children who like crafts? Our tips might help you. Or play a fun game together. Want some extra challenge? Then you can also play an escape game. You have those both offline and online.
