The most fun outdoor activities

Although the weather in autumn may not always be attractive, it is still important to spend a lot of time outdoors. It makes you happier, gets you exercise and you always feel nice and rosy after an outdoor activity.
So this fall, take a group of friends or your own family and do something fun and sporty. We have compiled a list of sporty and fun outdoor activities for you.
At the beach
Along the beach is always a good place to be. But did you know that you can also do numerous sporting activities in various places along our Dutch coast?
At Dreams experience at Ter Heijde, for example, you will find activities such as surfing, rafting, freerunning and BMXing. Is this just a little too much of a good thing? Then you can enjoy a game of beach volleyball, soccer, tennis or disc golf on the beach.
At Hart Beach Quicksilver Surfschool on the sportiest part of Scheveningen you can also have fun. How about surfing, supping or longboarding? The experienced surfer can rent his gear here, but also for your first lessons you can go here. Besides individual lessons, they also organize many fun and sporty events with trial lessons. And afterwards you can settle down on the pleasant terrace for a snack and a drink.
On the water
Do you love water, but are looking for something in a relaxing environment? Then go out in a boat. In Utrecht, for example, you can rent a canoe to make the Utrecht canals unsafe. And in Honselersdijk you can water ski on the lake. Not after a boat, but with the cable car. From Restaurant Wollebrand you have a view of the cable car and can enjoy a delicious meal.
Want to keep it completely quiet? Then go out in a sloop. For example, you can rent a sloop from Winebar Mendoza in Rotterdam, with which you can float around on the Bergsche Plassen or tour around the Rotte. Woerden is also a great base for a day on the water. You rent your sloop from the Scheepsjongens. Sail on the Old Rhine, (along the Roman Limes!), on the lakes, or sail through the nature in the polder. You can also moor somewhere for a swim or a picnic in the meadow.
Cycling
Would you rather stay in the country and head out on your bike? Then hire a mountain bike at the Bergse Bossen Hotel. Here you are in the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and surrounded by forests with plenty of mountain bike trails.
Would you like to combine your bike tour with a city tour? That is also possible! In Utrecht you can set off with the ColorBikeTours. You will discover surprising places, beautiful stories, amusing anecdotes and unique urban legends.
And in The Hague you can join the now legendary Cycle and the City. This bicycle tour through The Hague does not take place on a steed of steel, but on a golden bike! You start at the statue of Harry from The Hague and pass all known and unknown pearls of The Hague. You will make stops to take a stroll and enjoy various snacks and drinks in the Hague restaurants.

Such as a completely renovated survival course and not to mention the gigantic outdoor climbing wall of 550m2. Afterwards you can lounge on the terrace.
Also at Outdoor Valley in Bergschenhoek you can enjoy a total survival day. From archery, bridge building and canoeing to climbing, zip lines and paintball. To end the day with a delicious barbecue.
