The most fun girlfriend getaways in the Netherlands
We are still facing various restrictive measures to contain the Corona pandemic. But after such a long time of social restriction, we also get more and more need to see and talk to our friends again. And since the number of people you are allowed to host at home is capped, we have searched for you for the most fun girlfriend get-togethers in the Netherlands.
Because how nice is it to have an extensive chat with your group of girlfriends, to be busy and especially to have fun together in a relaxed way. Here are our tips:
Citygames
Choose a city and book a city game. This is possible at City Unique, the organization for outdoor group outings throughout the country. Choose, for example, the WhatsApp Murder Tour, Live Goose Board or Gangster Hunt. You will discover the city in a very playful and adventurous way.
Workshops
Want to get a little creative during one of your girlfriend getaways? Then book a workshop. For example, one of Chocolaterie Pierre ‘s chocolate workshops in Hillegom. Or go jewelry making together with Saramo Jewelry. They organize their workshops on location so you can choose a nice spot. Want to combine a workshop with delicious food? Then choose a sushi workshop. This is possible for example at the Sushi Master. Escaperoom
An escaperoom challenge is also always great fun with a group of girlfriends. For example, our blogger Marian recently played Outdoor Escape Hoeven‘s outdoor escape Legenda Basilicae. An escape game that takes place in the middle of the forest. We also recently played the escape game La Casa de Papel from Escaperoom TIME. An incredibly cool game played in a completely Coronaproofed room.

Suppen or canoeing
Are you looking for a nice active outing? Then go supping or canoeing with your girlfriends. And no, you don’t always have to go to a lake or the sea. In several large cities you can also enjoy supping or canoeing right in the center. For example in Utrecht. Our guest blogger Fenne recently told us in her blog Kanoën in Utrecht how she experienced her canoe trip. With Sup School Domstad you can rent a sup to sail through the canals or follow a fun clinic. But of course you can enjoy boating in many more cities. Just search on Google for the activity in the city of your choice and you will surely find a nice place near you.
Discover Rotterdam by bike!
Another great active girlfriends day out is at Inside Rotterdam. Here you can discover known and unknown places in Rotterdam. You can for example go up on the roof at different famous buildings or book a culinary food tour. Great fun to do with your girlfriends!
Bathing and splashing
Do you prefer to be lazy? Then book a wonderful wellness package for you and your girlfriends. Relax in the sauna, catch up on the latest gossip, sprint naked to the plunge pool and then catch up over a cup of tea and a pastry. In the Netherlands you will find several wonderful wellness resorts such as Elysium in Bleiswijk, Thermae 2000 in Valkenburg, De Veluwse Bron in Emst, De Zwaluwhoeve in Hierden and Thermen Bussloo and Soesterberg. Going out to dinner with your girlfriend group may not be very original, but it is always very enjoyable. The biggest challenge with picking a suitable restaurant is to meet everyone’s needs. Not everyone has the same budget and certainly not the same taste.
