5 Tips for romantic getaways

Whether you are new to each other or have been married for years: doing things together is very important for a relationship. Just spending time together – without the children – spending time together. Because sometimes you are so busy with all kinds of things that you lose sight of each other. And that is not the intention. We have tips for you!

Date night

You sometimes hear the term date night come up, but what does it mean? Well, actually exactly what it says: an evening during the week or month when the children are left with grandparents and you and your partner spend time together. This could be with a movie night (at home or at a movie theater), a nice meal together (cooking yourself or eating out, such as going to a sushi restaurant) or just making time for good conversation. But there are more fun romantic outings to go on together!

Take a walk on the beach together

You can get a breath of fresh air on the beach in any season. In the summer it is usually nice and cool in the evening by the sea with a refreshing breeze, in the spring it is good to stay there (especially with a basket of goodies and a bottle of wine) and in autumn and winter you can snuggle up to each other because it is a bit chilly. While walking, conversations usually come naturally.

Get out on the water!

What could be more romantic than a trip on the water? Rent a whisper boat! There’s no need to row and it’s quiet enough on board to talk together, too. Bring a picnic basket with goodies and get out on the water! Fun and also one of the most romantic outings!

A romantic night out

If you have the luxury of having the kids, say with grandparents, stay over, then a night away is not a bad idea! Especially not if it is an overnight stay in a special place!

Take a romantic road trip
