What to do on Pentecost?

June 8 and 9 is Pentecost. Another long weekend off for many of us. In Christianity we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit (the spirit of Jesus) from heaven. But also this weekend is, just as during Ascension,for many of us in the sign of fun outings and trips with the family. Still looking for great tips? Maybe you can find them here!

Enjoying on the terrace

Yes! We can enjoy the terraces again! So enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, drinks or dinner, it’s allowed again! Visit a recreational park

Or go to the amusement park, animal park and other gaming locations! So get active with the family hanging in the trees in a climbing park, make your kids happy and visit Familiepark Plaswijckpark in Rotterdam, the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel, amusement park Slagharen or Safaripark Beekse Bergen. Go culture sniffing during Pentecost

Or make a cultural weekend of it and get something out of it too! For example, visit the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem, Museumpark Archeon in Alphen aan den Rijn and the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen. But there are also many beautiful war memorials to visit.
