Head to the museum!

Is the weather a bit gloomy? Then take your kids to a fun museum. Museums have long since shed their stuffy image, and there’s often plenty to see and do—even for kids! And the fact that they’ll learn something along the way is a nice bonus. Younger kids absolutely love interactive museums. Conducting experiments, getting creative, playing, and exploring: these are the key ingredients for a successful museum visit. Do you have teenagers? Then take them to an Instagram-friendly museum. There, they can go all out to take the best selfies!!

Is the weather nice during the May break? Then take the kids to an open-air museum. Geofort, Archeon, and the Prehistoric Village all have fun activities on the agenda this May break.

Or let them build a fort and bring them tasty snacks and drinks to enjoy in their homemade creation. Bake with them—like a cake, cookies, orpancakes. It’s also always handy to have small, inexpensive gifts on hand so you can organize a bingo afternoon or let them win prizes with brain teasers. Or try anonline escape game! Or just play a regularboard game. You’re sure to have something at home. There’s always something to come up with! Have a great May break!
