Our personal favorites
In addition to these blogs where we have collected for you many different restaurants throughout the country, of course we also have some personal favorites. For example, we are a big fan of Believe lunchroom in Delft. This lunchroom used to be a delicious seafood restaurant and you can taste that in their delicious lunch dishes. You can also still enjoy their home concept where they prepare complete menus or various individual dishes such as oysters, lobster, cocktail plates or Fruit de Mer for you to enjoy at home.
Bijna Thuis in Rijswijk is a beautiful brasserie, not far from our own home. Almost Home is hidden in the park and with their large cozy terrace you imagine yourself as a god in France. Especially when the sun shines a little it is a nice place for a nice meal, a drink or a cup of coffee with some goodies.
And in Rotterdam we love coming to Brasserie Uit ‘t Zuiden, where we get inspiration for their dishes from everything from the south. Mediterranean dishes from France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. But also our own south inspires the brasserie for delicious artisanal dishes. For example, they have real Maastricht Sour Meat on the menu. But we also love coming to Tapas restaurant Destino. Here you can enjoy a delicious Spanish lunch, drinks or dinner where you can enjoy Spanish wines, beers and daily changing tapas.
When we crave a delicious hamburger or other American bite, we like to sit down at Hudson Voorschoten. Here they not only have delicious American style dishes on the menu, you also sit in a cozy ambiance in the beautiful glass building where you can also sit all around on the terrace. So no matter which side the sun is coming from, this is always the place to be.
When we are in Overijssel, we like to come to Eetcafé Giethoorn – Burgers & Grill or ‘t Binnenhof Paasloo. Here you are on the edge of the beautiful Weerribben-Wieden nature reserve and with all the activities you can do at these locations, such as farm games, supping, (archery) shooting, cycling, boating and more, this is a perfect location for a fun day with the family or friends. And we have a first: because soon the new restaurant OSS&ZYL will also open from the same owner. We’ll keep you posted!
